Bisalloy Steels continues to strengthen its sales and customer service commitment with the appointment of Caszandra Ferguson to the newly created role of Regional Sales Manager, located in Perth, Western Australia.
In making the announcement of the company’s first female Regional Sales Manager in its 40 year history Bisalloy CEO and Managing Director Greg Albert said Caszandra’s appointment was another important step in the company’s long term growth strategy.
“Bisalloy is experiencing a growth in opportunities across a range of markets and end-users so having high calibre, experienced people in place is a core component of ensuring we are able take advantage of these opportunities,” said Greg Albert.
“Caszandra comes to us with proven key account management skills and industry experience and will be a valuable leadership addition to not only our sales and customer service effort but to the company overall.”
Prior to joining Bisalloy Caszandra was already highly respected in the industry having spent numerous years in a specialist role with SSAB managing key account supply and coordination in SA, WA and Batam (Indonesia).
“Caszandra’s broad experience and market expertise were clearly a big factor in her appointment, but equally as important was her understanding and enthusiasm for Bisalloy’s core values of professionalism, exceptional customer service, teamwork and innovation, said Greg.
Caszandra joins an already strong sales support and customer service team comprising recently appointed Customer Service Manager Renee Mitchell, Sales Co-ordinator Samantha Cordina and Export Co-ordinator, Megan Benson.
“We didn’t set out to develop an all-female team,” said Greg Albert. “Our philosophy is to have the best people available in the roles they are best suited for. Performance and alignment to our values are the criteria for advancement in Bisalloy.”
At the same time Greg Albert also announced the appointment of Amy Dawson to the newly created position of Communications and Engagement Manager.
“As we continue to grow we need to ensure that we have effective communications and engagement strategies in place to ensure that everyone in the business remains aligned and focused on delivery an excellent customer experience. Amy’s leadership in this area will be a key component of our future success, said Greg.
