Bisalloy Steels is pleased to announce a new commercial relationship with globally respected defence contractor, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.
CEO and Managing Director of Bisalloy Steels, Greg Albert, said of the new relationship, “we are proud to have been chosen by Rafael to supply our BISALLOY®
Armour steel for a number of key projects. Rafael is a globally respected name in the defence industry and it is testament to our position as a competitive Australian supplier in the world market that we have been able to form this new relationship.”
Successful trials of the company’s BISALLOY®

Rafael is one of Israel's largest defence companies, renowned for many life-saving, ground-breaking technologies, including the combat-proven “Trophy” Active Protection System for armoured vehicles and the “Iron Dome” air defence system, with over 1500 combat interceptions. Other known Rafael systems include the “SPIKE” Family of precise, multi-role guided missiles, sold to over 26 customers around the world, its pioneer Remote Weapon Stations for ground and naval applications, advanced aerial solution suites, and more.
This announcement comes as Rafael moves ahead with its plan to increase its presence in Australia. General Manager of Rafael Australia Pty Ltd, Ido Spitzer explained: “Rafael has been working hard to cement lasting and productive relationships with the Australian industry, as we aim to grow our footprint in a positive and beneficial way within Australia.”
Greg Albert expressed his pride at being chosen for the new commercial relationship: “We are excited to be able to further strengthen our international relations in Israel and excited about the ongoing export opportunities this will provide us.”
